1. Introduction

Orin ("Orin", "we", "us", or "our") is an AI-powered executive workspace designed to help users organize their work and interact with connected services such as Gmail and Google Calendar.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Orin accesses, how that information is used, what information is stored, and the choices available to you.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you sign in with Google, Orin may receive basic account information associated with your Google account, including your name, email address, Google account identifier, and profile picture.

2.2 Gmail Data

When you authorize Gmail access, Orin may access Gmail data necessary to provide features that you request. Depending on the authorization granted, this may include email messages, associated metadata, drafts, and information required to compose or send email on your behalf.

Orin does not use Gmail data for advertising, profiling, selling data, or unrelated purposes.

2.3 Google Calendar Data

When you authorize Google Calendar access, Orin may access calendar information necessary to provide calendar-related features requested by you. This may include calendar events, event details, dates, times, participants, and information required to create, modify, or delete events.

2.4 Conversations

Orin stores your conversations so that you can access your previous chats. Conversation data may include messages, generated responses, conversation titles, and timestamps.

2.5 Saved Memory

Orin provides an optional memory feature. Information is saved as memory when you explicitly ask Orin to remember it, such as "Remember that my favorite color is blue."

Orin does not automatically save Gmail messages or Google Calendar information as long-term memory.

3. How We Use Information

• Provide and operate Orin.

• Provide Gmail and Google Calendar functionality you request.
• Retrieve information from connected services when requested.
• Compose or send emails when requested.
• Create, modify, or delete calendar events when requested.

• Maintain memories you explicitly ask Orin to save.

4. Gmail and Calendar Data Handling

Orin is designed to retrieve Gmail and Google Calendar information when needed to perform a requested task rather than intentionally storing that information as permanent Orin memory.

For example, when you ask Orin about your schedule, Orin may retrieve the relevant information from Google Calendar to answer your request. Similarly, when you ask Orin to find relevant emails, Orin may retrieve the information necessary to perform that request.

5. Google API Limited Use

Orin's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Google user data is not sold or transferred to advertising platforms, data brokers, or other data resellers, and is not used for personalized advertising.

6. Data Storage

Orin stores information necessary to operate your account and workspace, which may include account information, conversation history, saved memories, conversation metadata, and OAuth credentials required to maintain authorized connections.

Gmail messages and Google Calendar information retrieved for a particular request are not intentionally stored as long-term Orin memory.

7. OAuth Credentials

When you connect your Google account, Orin receives OAuth credentials that allow Orin to perform the actions you have authorized. These credentials are stored securely and are used only to maintain the authorized connection.

You can revoke Orin's access through your Google Account or disconnect your Google account through Orin.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information or Google user data. Information may be processed by service providers necessary to operate Orin, including cloud hosting, database, AI processing, security, and infrastructure providers.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the security, rights, or property of Orin, its users, or others.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Data transmitted between your browser and Orin's services is protected using HTTPS/TLS.

10. Your Choices and Data Deletion

You may delete conversations, clear conversation history, delete saved memories, disconnect your Google account, or revoke Orin's access through your Google Account.

You may also request deletion of your Orin account and associated personal data by contacting Orin Support.

11. Children's Privacy

Orin is not intended for children under the age of 13 or the applicable minimum age required in the user's jurisdiction.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Orin's functionality, data practices, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated through the Orin service or other appropriate means.
